Whitepapers

I write whitepapers on a variety of topics, most of which are highly technical in nature. Writing whitepapers always involves doing some level of researching and interviewing.

A standard project involves limited research and interviews, with the customer supplying the majority of the topical information in advance of the project kickoff. Advanced projects are those where I handle the majority of the research and interviewing. Light projects are those that are oriented towards opinion and less towards technical details.

Each whitepaper is priced as an individual project, rather than on an hourly basis. Projects are estimated on the page length of the whitepaper. Each page is roughly 250 words in length. Rates may be lower for large projects, like a 12-page whitepaper or a short book.
